"It was brought to my attention from a customer who ordered a BLACK/GRAY EDGE strap that it frayed/split at the bottom, near the gray edge prematurely. It seems this has to do with the material and how it's sealed during manufacturing. If this happens prematurely to yours, trim it and use a lighter to seal it up. If that doesn't work/hold please email me for a resolution. It's not, and should not become an issue on any of the other color combos though. The material is a little different on those."
What does SB stand for? Seat belt. It's what I would most consider the weave and feel of the strap to be like.
This strap is a project that has been a long time coming. I've worked with my factory to get the weave incredibly soft and silky. Very similar to the straps sold by the Big watchmaker, but without the big price tag.
These straps will have the normal hardware found on our other nylon straps, for a couple of reasons. Firstly to keep costs down, secondly so we do not add any other failure points to the straps (kind of the whole reason for the mil spec style).
Hardware will be stitched, and available in brushed or polished.
